We are proud to announce the release of our first ever 3rd party sound set on Freshly Squeezed Samples. Produced by world renowned sound designer, Michael Kastrup, Zebra Hybrids is a collection of 400+ patches split across 16 categories. Michael has focused his attention on emulating instruments within his own studio. There instruments include Access Virus TI, Roland Juno 6, Novation Supernova II, Clavia Nord Wave, Roland D-550, Roland JD-990, Ephiphone Emperor Joe Pass, Gibson Les Paul Studio, Tokai Springysound and Ibanez GWB35.

In most cases Michael sampled several waveforms from each instrument and then tried to stick

to the waveform which offered the closest sonic signature to the original.

The Virus TI for example had 32 of its waveforms sampled. The Juno 6 patches are a mix of various methods to get the Juno feel, mostly done by using waveform sampling or phase locking.

This sound set really does capture the true 80s and 90s electronic sound, with some absolutely ground breaking emulations usable across a whole landscape of current genres. This sound set is perfect for literally any electronic dance music producer, with timeless patches to suit all producer setups.
